Ultrarunner / Austin, TX

A professional endurance athlete, with a focus on 100 mile races on roads, track, and trail, Zach is a well-rounded leader in his sport . IHe coachs endurance athletes of all abilities from shorter events all the way up to ultramarathons. Zach also host the podcast, Human Performance Outliers Podcast, where he likes to explore a variety of fitness and health topics, but lean towards endurance. He completed his first ultramarathon in 2010 after competing in track and cross country in high school and college. From there, was hooked on the long stuff. Zach did his first 100 miler in 2012 after racing into the Western States 100 Mile and was excited to continue to explore the 100 mile distance. Focused mostly on runnable 100 milers, but he really likes the balance the trail brings, so is planning on targeting some more courses like WSER going forward.
