Anton Krupicka

Besides being a two time Leadville 100 champion Anton has created a name for himself around his trail style, (almost Forest Gump-esque hair) and minimalist attire. He often runs without a shirt and with very lightweight minimal running shoes. He ran his first marathon when he was twelve. During college and in his early 20s he often ran upwards of 200 miles a week. Krupicka is featured in the film Indulgence: 1000 Miles Under The Colorado Sky which chronicles his Summer 2007 training leading up to the Leadville Trail 100.

Also an avid statistician, Peter created the Fastest Known Times website that was featured in Running Times Magazine. It tracks speed records for trails and routes around the world. Krissy Moehl

Through her passion for trail running, Krissy has had the opportunity to travel and experience the world. A forever runner, she first discovered the trails in 1999 through influential friends (fellow UD ambassador Scott Jurek being one of them!) in Seattle upon returning from studying abroad in Ecuador. From her first ultra race and win her resume has grown to over 100 ultras, including 55 female wins. Her longevity in ultrarunning and commitment to growing the sport through a passion for coaching others led her to author a book: Running Your First Ultra launched December 1, 2015.

Larisa Dannis

Larisa’s journey into the running world was somewhat unconventional. Although she dabbled in team sports in high school, she was never very active as a kid. Upon starting her first office job back in 2007, she became especially sedentary. As her weight started to creep up, she knew she had to do something to improve her fitness. Many of her warmest childhood memories center around the White Mountain Region, where every summer she would venture north to hike up some of New Hampshire’s tallest peaks. The decision to take up hiking as an adult seemed almost instinctive. It was as if the mountains she loved so deeply as a child were calling her back.

Timmy Olson

“I live life to the utmost. I love to go for long runs in the mountains and capture the magnificent creation mother earth has entrusted to us. I enjoy nature and the connection of everything in it. I believe this connection to our earth needs to resonate within each person. Beginning with our own actions of living consciously, we can create vibrations to inspire individual and collective steps to heal and care for our environment. Living in this moment and being at ease with myself and how life flows, can lead to the transformation I wish to be a part of. I love to wake up in the morning and know that no matter what, everything will be OK.”
