    1. Perfect if you just need to carry drinks and food

I have worn the Race Vest 4.0 three times (twice for 20-mile runs) now and love it. The two pockets in front are both big enough to hold a 24 oz cycling water bottle (which I prefer to use instead of soft flasks) and there are still two other pockets in front and two in back. I was just able to get my gel flask out of the back pocket and put it back in while moving but it was not easy as you really need to reach. I'm 6' 2" and 185 lb. and got the Medium. I did not need to tighten the new fit system straps in back at all and am able to cinch the two front straps pretty tight. Luckily not enough to cause discomfort. This vest is so light but one drawback to this lightness is that it does not hold my rigid bottles as securely as my other vests and they bounce around just a little. If it's a hot day or I don't need to carry clothing/first aid/an emergency beacon/etc. this is now my go-to vest. on Feb 24th 2018
