I can get about 2 hours out of the bottles that came with the Vest 4.0. Adding this 1.5 liter bladder gives me another couple hours of fluids when I’m out in areas where I can’t refill the bottles. It fits the vest perfectly. The hose is a little long as other have stated. But honestly it’s not an issue and I’d rather have it a little too long than not long enough. Overall I’m pleased with the product.

Recently used this with my ultra vest 4.0 on a 15 mile trail run. Worked very well. No leaks. I can see what other reviewers said about this being hard to fill in a hurry. True. But it works well. Much easier to clean than other reservoirs. The hose is way too long, but I was able to stuff the excess back up inside the vest, and it stayed put. Overall, reservoir worked well. The vest is fabulous - carried 2.5 liters of water and felt like I was carrying nothing. Fabulous!

50 oz reservior
I like how well it fits in my hydration vest except tube could be shorter and work a little easier

Perfect amount of water for hiking and running a half marathon or more. The mouth piece is much better than the camel back brand. Also much easier to clean.

Liked the old version better
I bought this bladder to replace my old one because one of the plastic pieces in the hose connection broke off. There are some things I really like about this reservoir, and there are some things that are not so great.
Easy to clean.
The bite valve. I like this so much better than the old one (which I actually ended up swapping out because I hated it so much).
I hate, HATE the new closing system. It's difficult to use when refilling at an aid station. I much preferred the old version with the channels to help you slide the bar across. And the bar isn't connected to the bag, making it easy to misplace. The ziplock is nearly impossible to fully seal when you're tired or in a hurry.
The hose. I cannot get it completely dry. Luckily, I use nothing but plain water in my bladder. But if I had Tailwind or something similar, I'd be very concerned about mold.
The change in the sealing system alone makes me much prefer the old version. The bite valve is really nice. But I'll take it (or swapping it out) over this new version.

Very OK. Not Special.
This reservoir is very average. There is nothing majorly wrong with it, but nothing very special about it.
People have complained that the hose is too long. I agree with that, so I cut about eight inches off. Problem solved.
People would complain that the hose doesn't dry out completely. I remove the bite valve when it is not in use. Another problem solved.
I simply don't like the closure. The fold over system seals well but is slow and clumsy to operate. Because of this I will not use it in a race where I may need refills.
I still prefer the Hydrapak bladders.

I miss the old version
Exactly like another comment said, I can’t get the hose to dry out. I’m afraid I’m going to have a mold issue before long. I loved the last version of the reservoir and it always dried out properly. Sort of bummed I can’t get it still. With that said, UD bladders are far superior to other options out there. I love how easy they are to fill and clean and I’ve never had a leakage problem.

The hose is too long for me
It’s super nice, but the hose was way to long for me. Still trying to figure out how to make it work.

Paradoxically Sturdy and Flexible
I purchased this reservoir to go into my vest. I have used it several times now and have been happy with it every time. It seals up tight and fits snugly into my vest. The bag is easy to clean. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is the difficulty I have with getting the hose connection to properly dry. I can't seem to get all the little water droplets to evaporate or drain out over the course of a week. Other than that, I recommend this product.
